Welcome to QR Pixel ("we", "our", or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our application collects, uses, and safeguards your information when you use our mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

QR Pixel collects minimal data strictly necessary to provide features like QR scanning and cloud sync:

• Camera Data: Camera access is used exclusively in real-time to scan QR codes. Camera stream data is processed locally on your device and is never saved or transmitted.
• Account Information: If you sign in using Google Sign-In, we collect your display name, email address, and user ID to manage cloud backup of your saved QR code history.
• Local Scan & Created Vault History: QR code items created or scanned are stored locally on your device using Room Database.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use the collected information solely for:

• Scanning and generating QR codes.
• Synchronizing your saved QR vault items across devices via Firebase Cloud Firestore (only when signed in).
• Securing your vault data using on-device Biometric Authentication (Fingerprint / FaceID).

3. Data Security & Storage

We prioritize security. Your biometric authentication data is processed locally by Android system APIs and is never stored or transmitted by our application. Cloud data is protected by Firebase security rules requiring user authentication.

4. Third-Party Services

The app utilizes third-party services that may collect information used to identify you:

• Google Play Services
• Firebase Authentication & Cloud Firestore
• Google ML Kit (Barcode Scanning)

5. Your Data Choices & Deletion

You can clear your local QR scan history at any time from the app Settings screen. You can also permanently delete your account and all synchronized vault data directly within the app by going to Settings > Delete Account. Alternatively, you can request account deletion by visiting our Account Deletion Request page or contacting us at aurarose782@gmail.com.
